Our princess is 5

It's hard to believe that 5 years have gone by since Bethany was born. She woke up this morning the happiest little girl ever...not only was it her birthday, but she also gets to be the leader at school today. Bethany is definitely our princess, rock star. She loves pretend play, going to school, being a rock star, and especially cuddling with daddy (100% daddy's girl). Her smile will light up the room and her phrases will make you laugh out loud. It's so fun watching her grow up and we can't wait to see what God has in store for her future.

Happy Birthday Princess! We love you so much!

Birthday Party Fun

The beautiful roses from my wonderful husband!
Last Sunday afternoon, we had a fun birthday party for Bethany and Erica. Erica wanted a princess cake and Bethany wanted a microphone cake for Hannah Montana. The girls had a great party and thanks Kurtis and myself several times afterwards. :)

Erica loves her new bike. I can't wait for the weather to warm up so she can ride it outside instead of in the dining room and kitchen. :)

I made each of the girls their own fleece blankets. They got to pick out the fabric.

Erica opening her first gift...a crayon tower.

Bethany loves her "American Girl" doll.

Bethany is also big into Polly Pockets.

The kids all decorated their own guitars for a fun activity.

Happy Birthday Baby Girl

Yep that's right, my little girl is turning 3 tomorrow. She has been such a wonderful blessing to our family. She is known as our spunky monkey, though she will whole heartily deny it. She is always saying such funny things very matter of factly. If you laugh at something Erica says or does she'll look at you and say, "I'm hilarious aren't I?" She's got big bright beautiful blue eyes that will melt your heart. Erica loves to play mommy kid, dollhouse, color, try to write her name (knows how it's spelled, but those letters can be pretty tricky to write) :), and read books. She cannot wait to grow up! If you ask her how old she is, she might answer 6, sometimes 4, but in general would like to skip past 3 and be 5 just like Bethany almost is. Here's a little trip down memory lane just to see how sweet and adorable our little girl is.

Happy Birthday sweet little girl!
